Mika is back with his signature "feel good" sound. A really fun song, reminiscent of "RENT" and "Glee."

02. Box N Locks - MPHO

MPHO ("mphooo") breaks on to the scene with this catchy first single. Great lyrics too.

03. Mama Do (D'Naeo Edit) - Pixie Lott

Casting Amy Winehouse comparisons aside, this remix makes for a fun bongo number.

04. Yellow Moon - Marius de Vries feat. Róisín Murphy

Recorded in 2007, this beautiful song is finally released, showing again that Ró can do no wrong.

05. Loba - Shakira

Shakira is always better in Spanish than in English. This song is so addictive! Already one of my most played.

For many this will sound odd at first but soon enough you'll be singing along to the quirky lyrics and bopping to the beat.

07. Off and On - Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Originally recorded by Róisín Murphy, the song was too poppy for her. Thank god Sophie recorded it, it's perfect for her sound.

La Roux is burning up the UK Charts and this song is another great track, not as shrill as their previous singles.

I hated this song at first but it's just too catchy to resist!

10. Je Suis Une Dolly (Me and Mrs Jones Extended) - Dolly Rockers

Brand new track from a new UK girl group. They really churn them out across the pond, eh?

11. Paparazzi (Demo Mix) - Lady Gaga

This mix brings a "rock" feel to what already is a brilliant track.

12. Fixin' to Thrill - Dragonette

Dragonette's new single, again bringing their signature dirty pop - "Go on and show me that you know how to use it and do your duty."

New French Band - with the best album name ever: "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix"

Beyoncé is a robotic tranny in this video. I'm glad she released the song though so we could get this fun remix.

Who knew that a mashup/collaboration like this would work so well?!

David Guetta (who produced the original) removes Fergie's annoying "Mazel Tov's" to make this song much more bearable.

The King will certainly be missed, R.I.P. Offer brings this amazing classic into the new millenium.

12. Heartbeat (Sanno Solavas Bootleg Edit) - Madonna

Sanno Solavas is Rafael Lelis' pseudoname. Probably b/c "Heartbeat" will never be released as a single. I didn't care much for the original but again this track exemplifies the wonders of the remix.

13. Remedy (Crimes Against Disco Remix) - Little Boots

I cannot get enough of Little Boots! Dancing should be everyone's remedy :)

14. On My Shoulders (WILDLIFE! Remix) - The Dø

Never did I imagine I would enjoy a remix of this, especially since I fell in love with the haunting original (on RMV20), but here I am with my foot in my mouth.

15. Bulletproof (Foamo Remix) - La Roux

This song is one of my most played, and my personal anthem moving forward.

16. I Got You Dancing! (Jack Beats Remix) - Lady Sovereign

A dirty dirty remix that will get you movin' just like Lady Sovereign says.

Although my music tastes tend to fall on the pop / house side I do enjoy my fair share of hip-hop. It must come from Hema & Aarti, my best friends in college who definitely enjoy their "dirty south" music. Anyway, this mix here is definitely rooted in hip-hop & r&b. The tracklist is below, in the past the hip hop ru-mixes have been appreciated (RMV19 and RMV13) so I hope you enjoy this one as well.

04. W.F.Y. - Electrik Red
Electrik Red is quickly becoming one of my favorite groups, this song has become an anthem of sorts for many. Enjoy the raunch.

An unreleased gem from Nicole, produced by Timbaland and Keri Hilson - "gonna work your body like some cardio!"

Ci-Ci samples A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire) and it works. As much as I like the original, this is quite enjoyable as well. Too bad it probably won't be a single due to Chris Brown's current infamity.

My cousins are really into Jesse McCartney. I never took notice (except for that awesome MSTRKRFT Remix of Leavin' on RMSE: Please Don't Stop the Music) until this track. I think it's Luda that makes it work for me.
10. Down (ft. Lil Wayne) - Jay Sean
Lil Wayne is on every track out there so its inevitable the brown kids get in on it. Cute song.

Space Cowboy! This one is a banger for sure.

Ru-Mix: New Faux Disco

This is a special mix I made for Patrick Sandora's blog. Pat is a friend of mine that asked me to guest blog as part of his Summer Friday Series.
